In this roller coaster first half of the 2018-19 NHL season, the San Jose Sharks have found themselves in second place in the Pacific Division and fourth overall in the league.
A hockey fan who does not follow the Sharks closely may think that the first half was a breeze and they are exactly where they belong. While that has some truth to it, the Sharks should not have their heads held too high at this 11-day break for the All-Star Game. With the talent that the Sharks have, they should be leading the Pacific Division.
