The San Jose Sharks have been mired in mediocrity for the past year-and-a-half, and they can’t seem to shake themselves from the rut they’ve been in recently. Thus far in November, the Sharks have traded wins and losses and they continue to find themselves in the middle of the pack of the Pacific Division this season.
The latest example of San Jose’s inability to build some momentum was in Saturday’s 1-0 loss to the rival Anaheim Ducks, with their backup netminder and playing on back-to-back nights. It was a crushing loss for the Sharks because they had a chance to distance themselves from the Ducks in the early part of this season, while also putting forth multiple good efforts to close out this home stand.
