The San Jose Sharks will have a noticeable change to their gameday operation and presentation for the 2015-16 season. The San Jose organization sent out an email to season ticket holders yesterday indicating that the Sharks will have a new goal song for the upcoming year, ditching the “Rock and Roll, Part 2″ by Gary Glitter which has been a mainstay at the Shark Tank.
The organization decided to implement the change after Glitter was convicted of multiple sexual abuse crimes. Here’s part of the email that was sent out with the Sharks’ reasoning for going down this road:
