For the past five days, three San Jose Sharks prospects participated in Team Canada’s World Junior Showcase which took place in Calgary from Aug. 1-6.
Jeremy Roy, Dylan Sadowy and Rourke Chartier were among 40 players that participated in the showcase which featured a pair of games each against Russia and the Czech Republic.
Roy, arguably one of San Jose’s top prospects, saw action in three of the four contests but failed to register a point. Roy, who stands six-feet tall and 185 pounds, is a sleek, puck-moving defensemen who reminds me of Dan Boyle in many ways.
