Fruitless, lackluster, anemic are just a few words to describe a season to forget by the San Jose Sharks. In all fairness, the unofficial end to the Sharks’ season came with the firing of Peter DeBoer as head coach.
The announcement of the NHL’s return to play by commissioner Gary Bettman made the inevitable reality for team teal.
To further add insult to injury, DeBoer currently coaches rival Las Vegas, and the Knights are poised to contend once hockey resumes in the summer. The distinct possibility of DeBoer possibly winning with Las Vegas will undoubtedly be one decision Doug Wilson will wish he never made.
