The San Jose Sharks have looked like a completely different team over the past three or so weeks catapulting themselves from a 4-10-1 record on November 2nd to a 12-11-1 record at the time of writing.
And after the team’s 2-1 overtime victory over the hottest team in the NHL, the New York Islanders, on Sunday, the Sharks are now above .500 for the first time this season.
After residing in the Pacific Division’s basement for the majority of the season, San Jose is now in sole possession of fifth in the division as the team continues to climb back up the standings.
