The San Jose Barracuda will play host to the Stockton Heat in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs on Friday, April 21. The Calgary Flames affiliate beat the Bakersfield Condors on Friday night to book its spot in the postseason.
San Jose is 7-5 against the Flames during the regular season, though Stockton cooled off considerably over the course of the year. The Barracuda are 5-3 against the Flames since the new year and Stockton, which was a contender for the Pacific early in the season, slid all the way to fourth place.
