The San Jose Barracuda are struggling just like their parent club in the San Jose Sharks. Maybe the the losing is contagious around the building these days, but whatever is going on, both teams had rough weeks.
The Barracuda began their week by dropping a tough, hard-fought 3-2 game against the San Diego Gulls. The recently demoted Barclay Goodrow scored a goal in his first game with the Barracuda, while Nikita Jevpalovs added his second of the season. Troy Grosenick got the start in net, and played solid in making 25 saves, but he was still unable to find his first victory of the year.
