SAN JOSE — Evander Kane is reportedly being sued by a Las Vegas hotel for unpaid gambling markers he took out in April when the Sharks were in the city playing the Vegas Golden Knights in the first round of the NHL playoffs.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Tuesday that The Cosmopolitan Hotel filed a lawsuit in Clark County District Court on Monday, alleging that Kane has not paid back $500,000 in markers the casino extended to him this spring.
According to the Review-Journal, the court documents state that Kane was extended eight credits of amounts between $20,000 and $100,000 on or about April 15.
