Even with the number of upscale movie theaters in the South Bay increasing, Pruneyard Cinemas in Campbell is finding ways to set itself apart from the pack. It’s launching a new monthly series next week that should appeal to both foodies and film lovers.
Culinary Cinema pairs a three-course meal with a food-focused movie, all served inside the dine-in theaters. Director Jon Favreau’s delicious food-truck comedy “Chef,” accompanied by a dinner that showcases a Mojo Marinated Pork Roast, starts things off Jan. 23.
Guests can start their evening in the Cedar Room, which is offering three craft cocktails inspired by the film as well as the Cinema Highball, a combination of popcorn-infused Flor de Cana Silver Rum and Mexican Coca-Cola.
