If Saturday wasn't the best night ever in San Jose, it was certainly the most fun one I can remember. The first-ever Stanley Cup Finals game at SAP Center ended with a nail-biting Sharks overtime win and San Jose was absolutely bursting in celebration the whole night.
Even before the game, the atmosphere downtown was electric and glowing in teal.Fans walking to the game from downtown cheered on mascot S.J. Sharkie as he rode down Santa Clara Street on his ATV -- and even posed for photos when he was at a red light. Crews from NBC Sports and the NHL Network had their TV platforms set up outside the arena and fans jumped and mugged to get a moment on camera.
