SAN JOSE — Paul Martin’s availability for the Sharks’ game against the Buffalo Sabres is in question as the defenseman, who is still recovering from offseason ankle surgery, left Tuesday’s practice after just 10 minutes.
Martin, 36, warmed up and took part in some early drills but left under his own power and did not return. He had less than 11 minutes of ice time in the Sharks’ 4-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.
“Dealing with a little something,” Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said of Martin Tuesday. “He had offseason surgery and he’s working himself back in.
