SAN JOSE — Patrick Marleau saw the puck get past Anaheim Ducks defenseman Jacob Larsson and turned on the jets. He picked up the loose puck at the Ducks blue line, pulled away from everyone behind him and fired a wrist shot past goalie John Gibson.
There has never been a question about Marleau’s speed, even at the age of 40. But he showed Monday he’s still got some pretty good hands, too, as his two goals against the Ducks at SAP Center helped the Sharks earn a badly needed 4-2 win.

Stefan Noesen also scored twice and goalie Aaron Dell made 26 saves as the Sharks snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 3-3-0 without injured captain Logan Couture in the lineup.
