EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -- The Edmonton Oilers dropped associate coach Keith Acton and assistant Craig Ramsay from new coach Todd McLellan's staff Thursday.
Acton spent two seasons with Edmonton, and Ramsay was hired at the beginning of last season. Both were brought in under former coach Dallas Eakins and stayed on with interim coach Todd Nelson after Eakins was fired in December.
McLellan was hired in May after seven seasons coaching the San Jose Sharks.
