SAN JOSE — The Sharks knew this would be a critical month if they had any hopes of rejoining the pack in the Pacific Division. Eleven of their 15 games were going to be at home, and 13 games were against Western Conference teams.
Now there are three games left in November, and the Sharks are two wins away from matching a franchise record for victories in that calendar month.
Following a 5-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Nov.2, their fifth straight loss at that point, the Sharks (13-11-1) won nine of 10 and enter Wednesday’s game at SAP Center against the Winnipeg Jets in the second wild card spot in the Western Conference.
