SAN JOSE – A difficult six-game road swing, including a pair of back-to-backs, kicks off for the Sharks on Friday in Detroit. When it’s all said and done, San Jose will have played six games in just 10 days.
It would certainly be nice to go into the trip with a win on Tuesday over the Islanders. The Sharks are wrapping up a four-game homestand having lost two of the first three, including a 1-0 shutout on Saturday against Anaheim.
