Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun: On Sunday February 25th, the day before the traded deadline, Senators forward Bobby Ryan thought he and defenseman Erik Karlsson were being traded to a Western Conference team.
“I heard on Sunday it was done and somebody backed out at the last second,” Ryan said Monday morning at BB&T Center.
