It looks like Radim Simek will be staying in San Jose.
The left-shot defenseman and the Sharks reportedly agreed to a contract extension that will keep him in the Bay Area for the foreseeable future. The deal was first reported by iSport.cz in Simek's home country of the Czech Republic. The Sharks have not yet made the extension official, and Simek told reporters the framework of the deal has been agreed to but no pen has been put to paper.
Per the folks at Cap Friendly, the four-year extension will be worth $9 million.
