The Sharks already have added two top prospects to their organization this year, and it appears a third one might be on the way.
Writers Hans Abrahamsson and Tomas Ros of Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet (h/t to Fear The Fin) reported earlier this week that top prospect Fredrik Handemark has decided to join the Sharks over the Detroit Red Wings.
Aftonbladet reported that Handemark and the Sharks have agreed to a one-year, $900,000 contract if he plays at the NHL level.
"Of course it is fun that there is talk and there is interest," Handemark said, via Aftonbladet.
