NHL Free Agency 2017: All of the San Jose Sharks’ transactions in one place

The summer of 2017 promises to be a busy one for San Jose Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson. Franchise cornerstones Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau hit unrestricted free agency, while he hopes to sign goaltender Martin Jones and defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic to contract extensions.

We’ll keep track of all of Wilson’s work here throughout the offseason, updating this post with each new signing, departure, extension for players under contract, and re-signing of restricted and unrestricted free agents like Chris Tierney, Marleau, and Thornton.

Micheal Haley (rumored): Haley is reportedly expected to sign with the Florida Panthers, reuniting him with former San Jose Sharks assistant and current Panthers Head Coach Bob Boughner.
