SAN JOSE — Timo Meier scored his second goal in dramatic fashion, lifting the Sharks to victory in overtime.
Meier goal was his 11th in 14 games, securing a 4-3 Sharks win over the Philadephia Flyers at SAP Center Saturday.
Logan Couture picked up the assist on Meier’s winner, extending his point streak to a career-best nine games.
Joe Thornton tied the game at 3-3 at 15:03 of the third, blasting a shot into the upper shelf on a Sharks rush play. Kevin Labanc earned the primary assist his second point of the night.
Though the Sharks controlled the play throughout the night, the Flyers carried a 3-2 lead late in the third thanks to a trio of Sharks miscues.
