The Sharks added two players in the Tommy Wingels trade on Tuesday, both of which were immediately assigned to the San Jose Barracuda. Let’s learn a little bit about right wingers Buddy Robinson and Zack Stortini, both of whom are on expiring two-way contracts.
Robinson has played just four games with the Senators this season and has 104 points in 242 American Hockey League games with Binghamton for a mark of 0.42 points per game. He played college hockey with Lake Superior State and was not drafted by the Senators. Robinson scored one goal and notched an assist in seven NHL games with the Senators.
