PHILADELPHIA -- Melker Karlsson scored 3:45 into overtime and Martin Jones made 34 saves in his third shutout of the season, giving the San Jose Sharks a 1-0 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night.
Joonas Donskoi set up the game-winner on a 2-on-1 with Karlsson, who took the cross-ice pass and shot high past goalie Steve Mason. Paul Martin also was credited with an assist.
It was the fifth straight road win for the Sharks, who improved to 4-0 on their six-game road trip and 8-3 away from home this season.
