DALLAS – Injured forward Melker Karlsson is progressing from a lower body injury, but there is still no timetable for his return to the Sharks as he remains with the AHL Barracuda.
Karlsson skated in a no-contact jersey on Saturday, and will not play in the Barracuda game on Sunday. He will resume skating with the Barracuda on Tuesday.
According to Sharks general manager Doug Wilson, Karlsson had “a good day [Saturday]" with no apparent setbacks. "We look forward to it continuing.”
Karlsson was the Sharks’ 2014-15 rookie of the year, with 13 goals and 24 points in 53 games.
