The San Jose Sharks’ 2017 first round draft pick, Joshua Norris, has been selected for Team USA’s preliminary World Juniors Championship roster. Norris previously competed with Team USA as an alternate captain at the 2017 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship in Poprad and Spisska Nova Ves, Slovakia where they won gold and Norris tallied seven points in seven games.
The 18-year-old Oxford, Michigan native is currently playing his first year at the University of Michigan, where he has three goals and five assists in 14 games. A six-foot-one, 195 pound center, Norris spent the last two years with the US National Team Development Program.
