SAN JOSE — There will be no such thing as easing into the Sharks’ lineup for forward Jannik Hansen.
After waiting for a week to join his new team, Hansen doesn’t want to, anyway.

Hansen, acquired by the Sharks last Tuesday night from the Vancouver Canucks, will get a prominent role with the Sharks right away it appears he’ll be on the top line with Joe Thornton and Joe Pavelski when they face the NHL-leading Washington Capitals on Thursday at SAP Center.
Hansen was in that spot when Wednesday in his first practice at Sharks Ice as they got set to begin a six-game homestand.
