SAN JOSE — Sharks coach Pete DeBoer didn’t have a postgame update on forward Jannik Hansen, who was injured midway through the third period of Saturday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks and didn’t return.
Hansen was hurt after he went to hit Ducks defenseman Brandon Montour in the corner to the right of goalie Jonathan Bernier, and it appeared he caught a stick to his head.
Hansen, who had two hits in 12:44 of ice time on a line with Joe Pavelski and Joe Thornton, was playing in his sixth game with the Sharks since he was acquired from Vancouver on Feb.
