Jannik Hansen, Chris Tierney scratched for Sharks game vs. Stars

DALLAS — Jannik Hansen and Chris Tierney were both scratched from the Sharks’ lineup for Monday’s game against the Dallas Stars.

Hansen was hurt midway through the third period Saturday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks and did not return. Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said earlier Monday that Hansen would be doubtful to play against the Stars.

Tierney is out with the flu, according to the Sharks. It will be the first game he will miss this season.

Tierney had 10:55 of ice time Saturday, playing well into the third period, but did not take part in the Sharks’ optional skate Monday morning at American Airlines Center.
