SAN JOSE – The Ducks struck twice in the third period, including the game-winner by Corey Perry, in beating the Sharks in preseason action on Saturday night at SAP Center, 2-1.
The deciding goal came on the power play, when Perry got his stick on a Shea Theodore floater at 12:23 of the final frame.
The Sharks led 1-0 after two periods, but Chris Wagner tied the game at 3:05 of the third, ripping a shot past Martin Jones on a two-on-one rush.
Joel Ward’s goal at 13:17 of the first period held up as the only score through two periods.
