San Jose Sharks captain Joe Pavelski will tee off from the American Century Championship, an annual celebrity golf tournament, in Lake Tahoe today at 9:50 AM PST.
Pavelski is best known for his skills with a hockey stick in his hands, but he isn’t too bad at using a golf club either. The 33-year-old plays at a 1.8 handicap, according to the Wisconsin State Golf Association. He even hit some highlight-worthy shots at last year’s tournament, where Pavelski finished tenth.
The Wisconsinite and known cheesehead will tee off alongside Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, as well as Golden State Warriors Point Guard and two-time NBA Champion Stephen Curry.
