As the Sharks prepared for their first-ever playoff series against the expansion Vegas Golden Knights, we presented five key questions that would help determine which team would ultimately advance out of the second round. Whenever the series heads to a different city, we'll revisit those questions.
Following San Jose's double-overtime win to tie the series, let's take a look back.
The Sharks haven’t scored a five-on-five goal in the second round. When adjusting for score (because of the Game 1 blowout) and venue, the Golden Knights have attempted 54.12 percent of the five-on-five shots.
Game 2 was much closer, with Vegas slightly edging San Jose in large part because the former was pushing for a game-tying goal.
