SAN JOSE — General manager Doug Wilson saw Brenden Dillon’s emotional interview after the Sharks lost to the Florida Panthers, and knew at that point he needed to get something done.
Wilson traded Dillon on Tuesday to Washington for a 2020 second round pick, that was originally acquired by the Capitals from the Colorado Avalanche, and for a conditional 2021 third round pick.
