The Hockey Hall of Fame added its newest members Monday night as center Eric Lindros, goalie Rogie Vachon, right wing Sergei Makarov and the late coach Pat Quinn were inducted during a ceremony in Toronto.
Lindros, the MVP for the 1994-95 season, scored 372 career goals and was one of the most physical centers in the game.
“He was the best player in the game for quite a few years,” former Philadelphia head coach Bobby Clarke, speaking to NHL.com, said of Lindros. “There still hasn't been another player like him, with that size and skating ability and skill and some nastiness.
