Healthy and coming off a career year, Sharks’ MVP ready to ‘drive the bus’ in playoffs

SAN JOSE — Logan Couture is expecting the Stanley Cup playoffs to be a bit more enjoyable this spring.

The Sharks alternate captain is coming off a career year, he’s healthy and his mouth is filled with teeth. Eating, breathing and talking without feeling pain is also welcomed change from last season.

With a clean bill of health, Couture will be looking to build off his breakthrough performance during the Sharks run to the Stanley Cup Final in 2016 when his team opens the playoffs with Game 1 of their first-round series with the Anaheim Ducks in Orange County Thursday.
