The San Jose Sharks got themselves back in the win column on Saturday night and they did so in a big way defeating the Philadelphia Flyers by a final score of 6-1.
After losing four straight and 10 of their last 11 games, the Sharks finally picked up just their second win in the month of December in an absolute domination of a very solid Flyers team from start to finish.
They were led by a career night from Timo Meier who registered his first career NHL hat trick at a time where he and the Sharks offense desperately neede a spark.
