DALLAS — Jannik Hansen, who was injured the night before, traveled with the Sharks to Dallas on Sunday, perhaps signaling that he’ll available to play at some point during the team’s four-game road trip this week.
Hansen was hurt in the third period of Saturday’s game against Anaheim, appearing to catch a stick in his face after a hit on Ducks defenseman Brandon Montour. Hansen fell to the ice for a moment, then skated off under his own power to the Sharks bench before walking to the locker room. He did not return.
The Sharks recalled winger Timo Meier and center Danny O’Regan from the AHL on Sunday and reassigned center Ryan Carpenter, leaving them with 15 forwards on the roster.
