DALLAS — Jannik Hansen has an upper body injury is doubtful to play Monday against the Dallas Stars as the Sharks open a four-game road trip hoping to strengthen its lead in the Pacific Division.
Hansen was injured Saturday after he caught a stick to the face following a check on Anaheim’s Brandon Montour. He is with the Sharks on the road trip but did not skate Monday.
Sharks coach Pete DeBoer didn’t want to get into specifics about the nature of Hansen’s injury but said the forward is getting better.
The Sharks hold a four-point lead over Anaheim with 11 games left to play and one game in hand.
