Construction of two new rinks at Solar4America Ice in San Jose, originally slated to start in the next few weeks, will not begin at least until August.
The facility’s expansion was supposed to begin in May following final approval by city council of the building’s amended lease and documents. That approval was going to take place at Tuesday’s council meeting, but has been put off as city staff in recent months has focused on COVID-19-related essential service responses.
