Jakob Silfverberg scored with 58.6 left in overtime to lift the Anaheim Ducks to a 3-2 win at Winnipeg on Sunday.
Silfverberg got the puck all alone in the offensive zone and had plenty of time to take aim at goalie Michael Hutchinson. Silfverberg’s first try on a backhand was stopped but the wing followed it by burying the rebound.
“It wasn’t the prettiest way (to score), but we got the win anyway,” Silfverberg said.
“It was one of those games — it was ugly. It was an ugly hockey game,” added captain Ryan Getzlaf.
