Ducks top Blues to end 4-game losing streak

Antoine Vermette scored twice and John Gibson stopped 37 shots to lead Anaheim to a 3-2 victory over the Blues in St. Louis on Wednesday night.

Kevin Roy also scored for the Ducks, who jumped to a 3-0 lead and held on to snap a four-game losing streak.

Vermette, who ended an 11-game scoreless drought, had his first multiple-goal game since Nov. 25, 2015.

St. Louis won four of its previous five.

Bruins 3, Lightning 2: Charlie McAvoy and Riley Nash scored first-period goals and Tuukka Rask made 19 saves to snap his four-game losing streak for host Boston.
