SAN JOSE — Sharks season ticket sales for 2017-18 are about the same as they were the year before when the team was coming off a trip to the Stanley Cup Final, the club’s chief operating officer said.
John Tortora, COO of Sharks Sports & Entertainment, said Sunday that roughly 12,000 season tickets or their equivalents have been sold for this year, as new sales were added and about 90 percent of existing ticket holders renewed for this season.
The Sharks’ average announced attendance for 41 regular season games in 2016-17 was 17,508, or 99.7 percent of capacity.
