It seems like former Sharks keep finding friendly waters in Florida. Bob Boughner and Michael Haley already found their footing in Miami over the summer, after James Reimer headed East in 2016. Jamie McGinn is now there after being traded for another former Shark, Jason Demers. Antti Niemi made a two-week, two-game stop there earlier in the season.
And now another former Sharks goaltender has made a debut with the Panthers. Harri Sateri returned to the NHL when signed by the Panthers last summer. Reimer and starting goaltender Roberto Luongo are both nursing injuries right now, giving Sateri his first real crack at the NHL at 28-years-old.
