SAN JOSE — With Erik Karlsson watching the game from the couch, the Sharks dropped their third game in a row, sliding into the NHL’s three-day Christmas break on a sour note.
On Saturday, the Sharks took an overtime loss against the Los Angeles Kings, the Western Conference’s last place team. They came out of the wrong side of a 4-3 shootout decision at SAP Center Saturday, losing to the Arizona Coyotes, the Pacific Division’s second-worst team.
The three-game losing streak comes on the heels of the Sharks season high five-game winning streak that ended with a loss to the Winnipeg Jets Thursday.
