SAN JOSE — The Sharks can take a little bit of solace before they embark on their week-long road trip next week that their game right now isn’t in a bad place.
Or at least it seems like it’s in a better place than a few nights ago.
That definitely didn’t make Saturday’s 2-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks any easier to digest, as the Sharks created their share of scoring chances before closing their six-game homestand on a sour note.
Logan Couture scored a power play goal and goalie Martin Jones made 25 saves, but the Sharks are now just four points ahead of the Ducks for first place in the Pacific Division.
