NEWARK, N.J. — Logan Couture’s availability for Sunday’s game against the New Jersey Devils will be decided at game-time as the Sharks look snap a four-game losing streak and build on their lead in the Pacific Division.
Couture missed Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers with an upper body injury but Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said the 27-year-old center was feeling much better Sunday. The Sharks lost 2-1 in overtime to the Flyers to extend their winless streak to four (0-1-3).
Regardless of Couture’s availability, DeBoer said Kevin Labanc, a native of nearby Staten Island, N.Y., will be back in the lineup against the Devils.
