PITTSBURGH — Brent Burns scored a power play goal with 2:58 left in overtime as the Sharks began 2020 with a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena on Thursday.
With Penguins defenseman Kris Letang serving a tripping penalty, Burns, with room to move on the 4 on 3 advantage, stepped into a slap shot and beat Penguins goalie for his seventh goal of the season.
