SAN JOSE — Sharks defenseman Brenden Dillon doesn’t usually start a conversation in the penalty box with the player he just finishing fighting. But one thing led to another with Austin Watson when the Sharks hosted the Nashville Predators last weekend.
After the two fought during Saturday’s game at SAP Center, Dillon started talking with Watson about how tiring the fight was.
The two were talking as if they had known each other for a while. But other than a few games against each other in the American League, the two had barely spoke.
“Hey, Wats, we’ve got to work on our cardio this summer, huh,” Dillon said.
