The San Jose Barracuda were off to a decent start in their inaugural season as a franchise, but last week was a tough one for the Barracuda. San Jose dropped a pair of 3-0 shutouts to division rivals, the San Diego Gulls (Anaheim Ducks) and Ontario Reign (Los Angeles Kings), on consecutive nights as the Barracuda are currently tied for last place within the Pacific Division.
San Jose (2-3-0-1, five points and a points percentage of .417%) couldn’t muster up much in the way of offense against two of the better teams in the AHL.
