Mantas Armalis got a rare start as the San Jose Barracuda traveled to Bakersfield for a one-night road trip against the Condors. The Barracuda were trying to maintain first place in the Pacific Division while the Condors are fighting for their playoff lives.
It was San Jose that got the best of the Central Californian squad as Joakim Ryan scored in overtime to give the Barracuda a 4-3 victory. It’s the seventh win in a row for San Jose.
The Barracuda came out of the gate fast and scored their first goal just 3:24 into the first period as Buddy Robinson scored his 9th of the season with assists going to Dan Kelly (2) and Mirco Muller (9).
