The Barracuda offense came alive over the weekend, leading to back-to-back wins with wins by 4-1 and 5-2 margins. San Jose topped the Bakersfield Condors on Friday 4-1 before topping the Ontario Reign 5-2 on Saturday.
San Jose looked very good against the Reign on Saturday (I saw it in person even). The Barracuda, particularly Tim Heed and Marcus Sorensen, looked dominant against the Reign while Mantas Armalis played a strong game in net.
Ontario scored the first goal on Saturday, but the Barracuda answered quickly to tie the game at one. San Jose was the better team for much of the contest and won handily by the time the final whistle blew.
